delmar fair 2011 was most definitely fun.
good way to start off the summer 

i wish people could figure stuff out themselves.
that’s what instructions and directions are there for.

people annoy me.  

this is actually my sister, but she can pull of a bathing suit and i can’t so we’ll just stick with this.

SUMMER 2011!
We shall meet in three weeks, and I shall finally be able to sleep, sleep, sleep. 
So far, I have rather high aspirations for these upcoming months of “freedom”
My goals include:

• Exercise everyday   ( *note to self: Must get 24 membership ) Me and Angela will try out Kevin’s routine, but I don’t know if it’ll be a very smart workout for us, considering he’s a bulky football kid and I’m not exactly looking for massive triceps and quads or whatever. 
• Eat healthy! I plan to return to school having lost all this weight I gained over this past school year. Thanks to junior year, my thighs have like doubled in size and I can’t even wear shorts anymore without looking ridiculous. On top of that, my cheeks have gotten so chubby. Blech.
  Must. Lose. Weight. and exercise!
• Attempt to learn starcraft. I watched that one music video… I think it was like “4Tomorrow” (?), but this one girl in there was like a pro-computer gamer, and she looked so cool! I doubt I’ll be able to keep up, but I want to at least try it out. If all else fails, there is always my beloved Solitaire to return to. 
• Tutor kids. Tutor tutor tutor tutor tutor. I shall be a great tutor.
• Volunteer at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center.
• Buy pretty dresses.
• Arizona Mission Trip? or Family trip to Cananda? I must decide.
• VBS, one at the end of June and one in July. 
• Start working on college applications and look into scholarship stuff. I need scholarships. It sucks being stuck in the middle of the economic scale. Rich people can easily pay their way through college and the other end gets financial aid, while the rest are stuck in the middle with nothing. ): 
• Convince parents to buy me a car. I shall write a persuasive essay using rhetorical techniques to convey my purpose, my exigence being the need for a car. My korean letter worked last time in getting me my Drama DVD set. Perhaps I shall try it again.

Honestly, I’m just doing it so it’ll look good on my college applications, but I guess I’ll just make up some flattering reasons.  

Lately with seniors hearing back from colleges and choosing which ones they’re going to attend, I’ve been thinking about it a lot myself. And honestly, I think wherever I end up going, I will be fine with it. I mean, I don’t want to particularly go to UC Riverside or SDSDU very much, but I think wherever I do end up going, God will be able to bless me there and teach me new things.
That said, I think out of all the California schools, my colleges to think about list consists of UCSD, UCBerkeley, UCLA, Cal Poly SLO, and USC. I may apply to UofMichigan simply because me and Karen have both talked about it, and Rice cause my daddy went there. I don’t think I really want to go to an East Coast school.

But anyways! First half of APBio and APCompSci finals DONE and OVER! Hooray!

UNTIL BREAK!

I have to yet to study for my chapter 46-49 AP Bio quiz. Looks like I’m going to be going to school with massive eye bags once again.

I had Ashley lock my facebook so I can’t go on, but instead I’ve been googling Pretty Little Liars, since my sister got my hooked on the book series. I kinda want to watch the TV show now. 
Man… Ashley ends up getting me all caught up in these shows. Like Glee, and now I’ll probably start watching PLL. Definitely not what I need at the moment with finals and AP tests coming up.

But, after my research on google, I’ve decided that this guy

is super cute. I definitely ship Aria and Noel even though I haven’t watched this show at all yet.

I think one thing I really miss having is a best friend. 
the last time i had a friend who i could definitely call my “best friend” was back in 6th grade. Five years ago.
I miss having a best friend.
I wish I had a friend who I could be totally comfortable around, and who I can tell all of my struggles, all of my worries, all of my secrets to without the apprehension of being judged.
I want to have someone who i can call or text whenever, wherever, and not worry if I’m going to annoy them.
I want to have a best friend who will be my maid of honor at my wedding.
Nana told me on the phone yesterday that her closest friends are the ones she had in high school. Even now when she talks to them, they’re the only ones who she can use informal language and talk comfortably with.
I only have one more year of high school, and the prospects of finding a best friend within that one year seems rather unlikely.
Ah, well.
I guess we’ll see with time.
